Midwest Equipment Inc. officially sprouted into business in 2010 after owner Bob Vermette sold CMI Doors to Eliason Corp of Kalamazoo, MI. As time marched on, Midwest added a few key suppliers to its portfolio and Midwest began to gain momentum in the Canadian marketplace as a successful independent manufacturer’s representative and dealer for many leading specialty products.

Calling on the architectural community and business development with key dealers from coast to coast, Midwest has found niche markets and clients that are glad to have worked with Midwest Equipment Inc., ensuring their investment in quality fixed assets offer the most durable and cost effective products built to last and provide years of trouble-free service. Bob has been involved in the specialty products industry since 1981, but mainly focused on manufacturing specialty commercial doors from 1983 to 2010, having owned Chase Durus Canada until 1997 as well as CMI doors from 2003 to 2010.
